This General Machinery Regulations online course has been developed specifically for employees appointed to operate or supervise machinery used at the workplace, as well as for management and safety personnel. Machineries are found at every workplace and are one of the leading causes of injuries and death not only to operators, but also to employees.  It is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that all employees are working in a safe environment, and part of that is to provide competent and sufficient supervision where machinery is operated. This General Machinery Regulations online course will give a better understanding of the risk and hazards attached to the operation, maintenance, and supervision of machinery; principles of health and safety applicable to machinery at the workplace; how to efficiently supervise machinery; and what measures to implement and enforce for safety when operating machinery.

5. Machine Safety procedures and tips:  This will include an understanding of why machinery safety is so important; the hazards working around machinery; do’s and don’ts for working with machinery; and safe work procedures.

By the end of this General Machinery Regulations online course, you will have a better understanding and knowledge of the hazards and risks attached to machinery and how to operate, maintain, and supervise machinery in such a way to prevent these hazards and risks to materialize.  You will also have a better knowledge and understanding of the General Machinery Regulations.
