Description

According to the Construction Regulations, all principal contractors must appoint a competent person as a Construction Manager.

The main question on everybody’s mind: who is this person and what is the role & responsibilities of this person? For many years the Construction Supervisor was the “go-to” person on a construction site. The industry also introduced a site agent or site manager to look after the project. But what, then, is a Construction Manager?

In this book you will be able to see what the management of a construction site entails and what the challenges, roles, responsibilities and liabilities of the new appointed Construction Manager is, according to the Construction Regulations. This book covers topics such as time and labour management as well as resource management.

The Construction Manager will clearly see what traits they need to have and how to layout a site with all the important welfare facilities. This book will be a valuable tool in the hands of any person appointed to the position of being a Construction Manager.
