This Fire Marshall online course has been developed specifically for employees in a more managerial position to oversee a fire plan and trained fire fighters in a workplace.  This course does not make of you a fire fighter but will give you the critical knowledge to deal with fires at your workplace.

Throughout this course, you will learn the following:

1. Identify different types of fires: This will include understanding fire prevention and fire protection, causes of fires and different classes of fires.
2. Explain and practice fire prevention: The prevention of fires in relation to housekeeping, to industrial safe practices. Consequence of non-adherence to safe practices.
3. The science of fire: The role of oxygen and heat or ignition sources in a fire.
4. Different classes of fires: Understanding how to differentiate between different types of fires.
5. Fire Extinguisher: Components of a fire extinguisher.  Different types of extinguishers and when to use which one.
6. Fire control methods: How to prevent fires in the workplace.
7. Fire extinguisher checks and inspections: Know how to inspect and check your extinguishers.
8. Evacuations: How to correctly handle the evacuation of all personnel.

By the end of this Fire Marshall online course, you will be able to understand the basic nature of fire, fire prevention systems, fire fighting equipment and what steps to take in the event of a fire.
